Marion Davies was infamous for her epic pool parties. Awe-inspiring if you ask me.

Borrowing a carousel from the MGM lot to put next to your pool while you encourage everyone to show up looking like a clown is something only someone with unlimited amounts of charm could pull off.

Marion Davies is not only Santa Monica’s First Lady of party hosting but also might be the most infamous. We love a messy queen.

She loved her champs, maybe a bit too much, and she loved a good time celebrating with friends on Marilyn Monroe’s favorite State Beach.

Santa Monica is legendary in so many ways.

SANTA MONICA

ICE RINK

The Nutcracker IS sweet. Join us for a community skate night at the rink, inspired by joyful absurdity and set to the Nutcracker suite.

You don't need to skate to attend. Come hang out, enjoy the music, and be part of a very wholesome, slightly ridiculous night.

MARION’S ANNUAL BIRTHDAY PARTY AT HER BEACH HOUSE

A Capricorn through and through that would absolutely destroy you at Monopoly gets her cake, and you can eat it too. Technically, this mischievous gal’s birthday has passed, but the party at her place is nearly 24/7. (Rumors of her ghost dancing around the property abound.) Celebrate! Dress up! And make sure to RSVP. 100 years later, Marion’s parties still rock the house.
